The fish live trap is great for ponds with nuisance fish, overpopulated fish, or simply to sample what types of fish inhabit your pond. The special funnel design on the front trap door invites fish to swim in with ease but does not allow them back out. How to use and assemble:
The fish live trap comes assembled and no additional installation is required. Fish traps can be utilized in 4-12 feet of water and should be baited with any type of meat or specie specific chow.
When to use:
The extra large fish trap is best utilized in the spring & summer seasons when water temperatures are consistently above 55º. Fall & winter usage will provide fewer results, as most fish are dormant or are only active at deeper depths (if at all).
